I assume the ';uncle'; you are referring to is Prince George, Duke of Kent, Harry's great, great uncle. Prince George was known to attend society functions in full drag but in those days the press respected the royal's privacy and did not blab to the public. Anyway, the answer to your question is no.
For goodness sake it was probably just a ruddy bet - wear nail polish and see how many papers report it as news.
